How many credits does each feature use?
Music generation costs 10 credits, custom generation 15 credits, lyrics writing 3 credits, album art generation 2 credits, and lyrics video creation 5 credits.
How long does generation take?
Most songs are ready within 1–3 minutes. Complex generations may take up to 5 minutes.
Can I use the generated music commercially?
Yes! All songs generated on MelodAI are yours to use. Please review our Terms of Service for full licensing details.
What audio formats are supported for upload?
We support MP3, WAV, FLAC, and M4A files up to 50MB.
How do credits work?
Credits are consumed when you use AI features. Free accounts get credits on signup. You can earn more by subscribing to a plan or purchasing credit packs.
Can I make my songs private?
Yes. You control visibility and can toggle public/private from your song detail page.
Do credits expire?
Credits from subscriptions reset monthly. Purchased credit packs do not expire.
